by FarmhouseChic

Are you planning to give your home a style refresh this season? Don’t forget the fall candles!

I love decorating with fall candles and if you opt for scented ones, you can get a full sensory autumn experience right in your own living room.

Using candles for farmhouse fall decor is super easy when you’ve found your favorite fall scent. Let it inspire you to incorporate dried apple slices, cinnamon sticks, or pumpkins of every shape in size into your fall decorations.

I have some inspiring ideas and several DIY fall candles to get you started!

What are the best fall candle scents?

Doesn’t everyone want to know? Among my favorite fall candle scents are:

  • Cinnamon
  • Clove
  • Amber
  • Harvest Spice
  • Apple Cider
  • Pumpkin & Persimmon
  • Warm Vanilla Sugar
  • Sandalwood
  • Maple Syrup
  • Pumpkin Pie

I like to use all-natural fragrance oils composed of aromatic isolates from nature and essential oils in my fall candles. Like essential oils, they have zero additives. And they do not contain parabens and phthalates.  I find them to be an affordable candle making supply. But, no matter your choice, I know these scents make the best fall candles!

Whether you are making your own candles or purchasing them feel free to explore these scents (or combinations of them) to fit into your farmhouse fall decor.

Don’t be afraid to look to other ways to enjoy your favorite fall scents too. You can certainly opt for options such as fragrant lavender sachets or stovetop potpourri in your fall decor.

But if you love candlelight as much as I do – make your home smell like autumn with these DIY fall candles!

Creative ideas on how to decorate your farmhouse this fall using candles!

Decorating for fall is always something I look forward to. Gourds and pumpkins handpicked from father’s garden, beeswax dipped preserved fall leaves or those my daughter and I have pressed in our flower presses, acorns and hedge balls we’ve foraged from our woodlands and other natural elements always find their way into our farmhouse fall decor.

But, most of all, I think it’s the aromas of autumn I enjoy most. And you have a lot of options when it comes to incorporating fall candles into your farmhouse decor.

However, if there is one thing I’ve learned to have on-hand for farmhouse decor it’s white candles. They are so versatile and easy to pair with other fall decorating elements (you’ll see what I mean soon). Not to mention, you can reuse them in all your seasonal decor. Let me share these creative ideas for decorating your farmhouse this fall with candles.
